I painted on my friends garage at his warehouse this week. He had a denim/clothing sale of stuff he designed and I painted. It was really great to get that energy out. This mural is called ‘Kasing Kasing’. It means ‘Heart’ in Philippino. It depicts a character all flustered, wrapped up, and blushing over the other person. Strings already attached and is clearly more in to his/her lover than them. Have you ever been on either side of this? The other character is calm, less emotion, and gives a little wink. Hope you like it!

Currently I am working on a new piece about balance and energy. Here is a glimpse! This is my first painting in my new apartment. I’m located at the base of some very beautiful foot hills in Utah. I get to wake up with the sun shining from the east, rolling off the mountains, through my windows, and into my little studio space (formally a dining area next to my tiny kitchen). I feel so lucky as an artist to have experienced so many demographies thus far in my life.
I started something. A few months ago I drew late night on my friends wall at his denim shop. I just got this picture text. My art has expanded, originally in orange, now there are about 5 other artists drawings on his wall.
This is a drawing in the collection of the beautiful photographer, reality TV celebrity, and socialite Brooke Lauren. She is such an amazing woman with a heart of gold. She donates most of her time to philanthropic desires in Bali and Miami. I am so happy she sent me a pic of my art framed and in her home.

A little piece I created in Venice, California now residing in Brisbane, Australia. I painted this while my beautiful Aussie friend (whom was living with me at the time) shouted beat poetry in to the streets. I saw her confidence grow as my characters developed from a paint bucket to fluid lines while she explored ‘Howl’ for her first time. We attracted many strangers, now friends, in our little art nook on the street that night. Happy to see my painting so loved and cherished as this one is.
